Tee Ball is for players Little League International Ages 4, 5 and 6, as of August 31, 2023.

Tee Ball Games will be played at the SWLL Complex (138 Ayers Road) on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM

In the event of inclement weather or unplayable fields games will be rescheduled to Sunday morning.

All Teams will play one game per week and will have one weeknight practice

SWLL Tee Ball Team Practices begin the week of 4/10/23 SW School Vacation Week (Field and Weather Permitting)

1st Games Saturday 4/22/23- Final Game 6/24/23- No Games scheduled over Memorial Day weekend.

Teams Rosters are aged and School District/Neighborhood based.

Parents/Guardians are allowed to request team placement with best friends,etc and should request when completing their Spring 2023 player registration.

SWLL provides Team Hats and Shirts for all players.

Tee Ball Team Bats and Helmets that are shared by players are distributed to all Tee Ball Teams.

Players will need fielding gloves. Baseball pants are optional however if you purchase should be Light Grey so that they can be used at the next level of play that requires for all players.

Manager/Coach/Parent Volunteers are needed to allow for Tee Ball team rosters of 8- 9 players;

AA Minor Baseball is for players Little League International Ages 7/8/9 as of August 31, 2023.

All Players LLI Age 9 that are not drafted onto AAA teams will be placed on AA Teams.

All Players LLI Age 8 that register for AAA and are not drafted onto AAA teams will be placed on AA Teams.

AA Minor Baseball is a Player Pitch only League.

AA Minor Baseballl Games will be played at the SWLL Complex (138 Ayers Road) and Wapping Field

SWLL Major Baseball is competitive Baseball and requires full participation from all Players/Coaches/Volunteers

SWLL expects that every effort will be made to attend all scheduled team games and practices.

SWLL Major Baseball is for players Little League International Ages 9/10/11/12 as of August 31, 2023.

All Players LLI Age 9/10/11 that are not drafted onto Major League teams will be drafted onto AAA Teams.

SWLL Major Baseballl Games will be played at the SWLL Complex (138 Ayers Road) and Wapping Field

Games will be scheduled on Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday.

There will be scheduled Tuesday/Thursday Night Games starting at 7:30 PM

All Teams will play 3 games per week and will have 1 or 2 weeknight practices per week.

SWLL Major Practices will begin on Saturday 4/1/23 (Field and Weather Permitting)

1st Games Saturday 4/22/23- Final Playoff Championship Game 6/17/23- No Games scheduled over Memorial Day weekend.

This level is for all players baseball ages 13-16.  Games are scheduled for weeknights and Saturdays.  Make-up games, when necessary, will be scheduled on Sundays.

Team Field Practices will begin in April, weather permitting.  The Regular Season begins the end of April and runs through the middle of June..

The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide.

All South Windsor Little League volunteers must submit applications on an annual basis for the season at hand.

SWLL Constitution states the following:

Please be advised that the President appoints and the local league Board of Directors annually appoint and approve all Managers and Coaches for their particular league and the season at hand.  The league has the full authority to reappoint managers/coaches or choose not to appoint/reappoint managers/coaches on a yearly basis.                                         

There is no tenure involved at any position at the local league level.
